St. Paul – A new partnership aimed at highlighting the economic impact of hunting has launched in the state. Hunting Works for Minnesota includes more than 89 sporting organizations, small businesses, and retailers. Similar efforts are in place in other states, including North Dakota. The various partners have a variety of messages related to hunting,
District 1 – Ashland area Warden Brad Biser, of Brule, investigated a an illegal bear bait that resulted in a citation being issued to the subject.
