Pierre, S.D. (AP) – The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks
Department says people can review the agency’s five-year draft
management plan for pheasants.
The 84-page report covers how the department proposes to manage
the state bird through 2014. It’s open for review during a 30-day
public comment period.
The document is entitled “The Ring-necked Pheasant Management
Plan for South Dakota 2009-2014.”
