Indianapolis (AP) – New hunting, trapping and fishing licenses
are available from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
The new fishing licenses include a category for residents born
before March 31, 1943. Seniors are not required to buy fishing
licenses, but the DNR says the new voluntary licenses will allow
them to “continue contributing financially to the improvement of
fish and wildlife in Indiana.”
The DNR says it added the voluntary $3 license in response to
“many requests” it received from seniors.
