Upper Peninsula Area

Lake Gogebic’s seasons are finally beginning to change. Stable,
sunny 70-degree weather has been a welcome sight. Smallmouth bass
action has slowed down, with the spawn nearing the end. Early
summer patterns are beginning, with perch and walleyes being taken
in weedbeds. Leeches, minnows, and crawlers continue to produce
good numbers of walleyes. Northerns also have become more active
near weeds or cribs.
