Manitowoc Area

Water temps were 47 to 52 degrees last week. Anglers caught
kings and lake trout south of Manitowoc and north of Two Rivers
north off Rawleys Point in 70 to 140 feet of water, and to 100 feet
down off the riggers, and 18 passes off the pumphandles or 10
passes off the Dipseys. Cowbells and spin-n-glows run near the
bottom caught lakers, with fly flashers working on kings off the
riggers and Dipseys. Northerns and bass are being caught in the
shallows on Cartstens Lake. Bass and northerns were being caught
above the dam in Mishicot, and on the East Twin River. Below the
dam, brookies, bass, and northerns were being caught on spinners,
Rapalas, and crawlers.
