Idaho Fish and Game considers fishing rule change

Boise, Idaho (AP) – The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is
collecting public comment on a dozen proposed fishing rule
changes.

Department officials say the changes would improve fishing
opportunities, increase management flexibility, correct errors and
clarify existing rules.

The public comment period extends through June 26. If the rules
are approved by the Idaho Fish and Game Commission, they will go
before the Idaho Legislature in 2010. If lawmakers approve the
rules, they will go into effect in 2011.
