Eastman, Ga. (AP) – The state Department of Natural Resources
says seven people have been charged with poaching and related
crimes in Dodge and Laurens counties.
The DNR said Friday that the charges mostly involve deer and
turkeys and include hunting deer at night, possession of illegally
taken wildlife, hunting out of season and taking more than the bag
limit.
The DNR says an investigation led to DNR officers serving search
warrants at the home in Rentz of 30-year-old Michael Warren and a
home and cabin owned by 31-year-old William Stacy Jones.
Besides Warren and Jones, the DNR says thos charged are
28-year-old Mary Michelle Warren of Eastman; 21-year-old Cody
Coleman of Marietta; 29-year-old Durwood Graham III, of Eastman;
28-year-old Summer Page of Rentz, and 31-year-old Brandon Brisco of
Eastman.
