PGC biologists concerned about spike in elk mortality

Harrisburg – Despite hearing agency biologists’ concerns about an increase in elk mortality at their April meeting, Pennsyl-vania Game commissioners stood by their vote taken in January to offer 14 more elk-hunting permits for this fall’s season.
