Dredging decision could cost PF&BC

Kittanning, Pa. – Whatever else is on the Pennsylvania Fish
& Boat Commission’s April meeting agenda, the most
controversial issue will be what to do about rare mussels in the
Allegheny River.

The board will have to decide whether environmental concerns
trump big business, and whether it will stand by the resource-first
agenda the commission rolled out a year ago.
