Lee and Tiffany Lakosky visit Minnesota Deer Classic this weekend

An outdoors feature in today’s Star Tribune profiled Lee and
Tiffany Lakosky, of The Outdoor Channel’s “Getting Close with Lee
and Tiffany.”

Story didn’t mention it, but Outdoor News helped Tiffany achieve
some measure of her initial hunting publicity through our annual
Best Buck Contest. Looking through archives this morning, I see the
former Tiffany Profant was a weekly winner on Nov. 5, 1999, and she
had several other shots that appeared in the contest over the next
several years. Those images generated “yeah babies!” at sportshows,
plus talk radio chatter on programs like Joe Soucheray’s Garage
Logic on KSTP as well as coverage in national magazines like
Bowhunting World.

Congratulations to the Lakoskys for their success. These days,
you can find several outdoors programs following the
hardcore-hunter-heads-afield-with-outdoors-babe formula, but former
chemcial engineer Lee and former flight attendant Tiffany
definitely set the standard.

The couple is presenting seminars this weekend, March 13-15, at
the Minnesota Deer Classic in St. Paul. They’ll be at booths 703
and 705 signing autographs. And don’t forget to visit Outdoor News
at booth No. 1-2 to renew your subscription to Outdoor News.
