Green Bay/Appleton Area

In Oconto County, there are still a good number of perch anglers inside of the Oconto Breakwater Harbor and also at Oconto Park II. The fish are running small, and most are being caught by jigging. Reports of a whitefish bite outside of the breakwater have arrived, but not substantiated. The Sportsman, (920) 734 3299

Crab Orchard Lake: Bass action has slowed. Bluegills being caught on worms. Baldwin Lake: Warm-water areas good for catfish, though those being caught are small. Anglers are tossing crank bait around rip rap and catching a few bass. Bluegills are slow but will hit on meal worms or wax worms occasionally. Carlyle Lake: Channel cats

Finger Lakes/Central NY

Canandaigua Lake: No new report. Waneta/Lamoka lakes: Ice anglers were getting a few yellow perch on Waneta. Seneca Lake: Northern pike fishing continues to be good, with fish hitting pretty much everything from live bait to artificial bait. Yellow perch action has been good, with fish being found in shallow, 6-8 feet of water around

Chetek Area

There is good ice travel throughout the area. A lot of guys have been fishing the north end of Prairie Lake for panfish. They’ve had to do a lot of sorting. Capital District

On Lake George, Fish 307 reports that the South Basin is just starting to ice over, and ice anglers are getting out on some of the bays. Western New York

Lake Erie and tributaries: Tributary fishing has been decent and most tribs have been holding trout. The only one that’s seen limited action is Cattaraugus.
