Fishing was a little slow last week, probably more because of the current than anything, that and warm water. Local fishermen need some “weather” to get things going on the Mississippi. Trout fishing has been very good across the river in Iowa, where the season is open. Stark’s Sport Shop, (608) 326-2478.
