Northeast Region

Mosquito Lake (Trumbull County) – Plenty of anglers are still
hitting this northeast Ohio lake in search of winter walleyes. Duck
hunters were also hitting the lake pretty hard during the second
split of the north season, which ended Dec. 30. Unless a freeze
puts a hard cap on the water toward the end of 2007, expect this to
be one of those places where regional anglers congregate for
walleyes.

Tuscarawas River (Tuscarawas, Coshocton counties) – When river
conditions have been right over the past several weeks, anglers
have been catching northern pike in the stretch of the river from
Dover to Coshocton on Husky Jerks and Rogues.
