Bemidji, Minn. — Maplewood State Park, located in northwestern Otter Tail County, will be conducting prescribed burns this spring as part of buckthorn control projects.

At Maplewood, European buckthorn, a Minnesota restricted noxious weed, has invaded hundreds of acres of the woodlands.
