Staff Writer St. Paul — For all the groups in Minnesota working for habitat improvement and conservation, there’s generally been a lack of focus and coordination. Government agencies such as DNR and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service have been opportunistic in acquisition and restoration of land, as have private groups like The Nature Conservancy

The Northwest Sportshow this year is nearly 400,000 square feet filled with the latest in boating, fishing, hunting, camping, and vacationing. There is a full lineup of seminars, as well as the International Wolf Center exhibit, the Youth Wood Duck Project, and an antique fishing tackle display. Show hours this year are 2-10 p.m. on
