Winona, Minn. Kids ages 6-13 will discover the fun and excitement of fishing through the ice at the Ice Fishing Day Clinic to be held Saturday, Feb. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lake Park Lodge, Lake Winona, in Winona.

The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Upper Mississippi River Refuges and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Little Falls, Minn. Slowly, the items used over the years by Minnesota’s game wardens and conservation officers are being lost. However, a new Game Warden Museum will help preserve the warden heritage.

The museum, to be established by the DNR at Camp Ripley, will be a display area and repository for materials, from uniforms to gun belts, to badges. Artifacts of all kinds will be accepted by museum personnel, including personal journals or memoirs from past wardens. Artifacts can be dropped off at the DNR Enforcement Education
