Minneapolis Twin Cities Trout Unlimited is being honored with the Champions of Open Space Award for its work to conserve, protect, and restore coldwater fisheries and their watersheds in the Twin Cities area. TCTU will receive the award at a ceremony on

The Champions of Open Space Award celebrates the contributions
of individuals and organizations who are making a difference in
preserving open spaces in the metro region. It’s presented by
Embrace Open Space, a public awareness campaign sponsored by The
McKnight Foundation and 13 partner organizations.

TCTU has worked for 40 years to maintain and protect trout
habitats. It has more than 1,600 local members and is the third
largest chapter of Trout Unlimited.
