St. Paul The Minnesota DNR will present the final draft of the management plan for Great River Bluffs State Park at an open house meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 31, from 7-9 p.m. in Kryzsko Commons on the Winona State University campus.

After a short presentation at the open house regarding the major recommendations of the management plan, DNR staff will answer questions. Duluth, Minn. Minnesota’s Lake Superior Coastal Program is soliciting projects for funding for its seventh annual grant cycle. Approximately $800,000 will be available.

The program provides grants to the coastal community to help balance the land-use pressures with those of conservation and preservation, while allowing for public access and recreation.
