St. Paul Tickets are available for the 37th annual Frank Scheider Jr. International Muskie Tournament to be held Sept. 10-12 on 21 lakes in north-central Minnesota, including Leech, Winnie, and Cass.

The tournament returns a portion of its proceeds to the resource. This year, the Twin Cities chapter of Muskies, Inc. will donate $3,000 to the DNR for muskie forage to be used in rearing ponds throughout the state. More money will be set aside for muskie stocking programs. Tickets for the event may be purchased

St. Paul Pheasants Forever has announced a partnership with Cabela’s, making the Sidney, Neb.-based outdoors retailer the “title sponsor” of Pheasant Fest, 2005. Pheasant Fest will be held at Omaha’s Qwest Center, Jan. 14-16, 2005.

Cabela’s has been a long-time PF partner and plans to continue to support PF’s youth programs, habitat restoration projects, and other conservation activities. The partnership provides added benefit to both PF’s and Cabela’s dedication to wildlife habitat conservation and the education of the next generation of hunter conservation.
