Minneapolis The Three Rivers Park District will open portions of two parks to limited goose hunting this fall, as part of its overall Canada goose control program. The areas to be opened are Baker National Golf Course and Spurzem Lake in Baker Park Reser

Approximately 20 hunters will be selected for each site through
a lottery drawing. Applications for the hunts will be available by
July 15 at the park district’s web site at www.threeriverspark

district.org/nrm/wildlife_wildlife_management.cfm. Hunters also
may contact the park district at (763) 694-7840 for an application.
Applications must be postmarked by Aug. 13, 2004.

Successful applicants will know by Aug. 22. Hunters may apply in
parties of up to three people, with a $5 application fee per
party.
