Teaching kids about lake and stream ecology by teaching them to
fish is the idea behind the special DNR angling and aquatic
education program (MinnAqua). The “Spring into Summer with the DNR”
event at Cabela’s is open to the first 100 who register.
The program will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the outdoor
ponds just north of the main Cabela’s store. All equipment will be
furnished, and each participant will receive a free gift pack at
the end of the event. Registration can be made by calling Cabela’s
at (507) 444-5130.
