Minnetonka, Minn. The 37th Annual Minnetonka Crappie Tournament, sponsored by Gander Mountain, will be held April 24, with Lord Fletcher’s on Lake Minnetonka as the contest base.

The contest will begin at 12:01 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Minnesota. Grand prize (winner must only purchase a ticket) is a two-day expenses paid, guided fishing trip to Texas. Prize for the largest crappie is a boat, motor, and trailer package.

St. Cloud, Minn. Aspiring anglers are invited to learn the techniques employed by professional anglers at Scheel’s All Sports Fishing Fest, April 9-10, at St. Cloud Crossroads Center.

The event will feature two full days of free seminars, displays of new fishing gear, and boats.
