Little Sauk, Minn. A Minnesota DNR storage shed burned in an accidental fire Nov. 6 in Todd County, causing $200,000 in damages.

The fire occurred at 10:30 a.m. when a snowmobile backfired and
ignited in the shed. Attempts to contain the fire were
unsuccessful. There were no injuries, and the fire is under
investigation.

DNR Enforcement, and Trails and Waterways departments shared the
building for seasonal storage. The $200,000 loss in equipment
included six snowmobiles, five all-terrain vehicles, two 16-foot
boat packages, one 14-foot johnboat, one tractor, a fifth-wheel
trailer, five small boats and canoes, four snowmobile trailers, six
decoy deer, and other miscellaneous items.
