Mixed Bag

Kansasville, Wis. — The National Wild Turkey Federation’s Women
in the Outdoors event will come to Wisconsin on July 19 when the
Muskego Lakes and Stateline Strutters NWTF chapters host the event
at the Richard Bong Recreation Area in Kansasville.

Women 14 years of age and older will be given the chance to
experience outdoor activities such as fly fishing, canoeing,
outdoor cooking, gardening with native plants, turkey hunting, dog
training, self-defense, animal tracking and identification, boating
basics, and trapping. Registration is $35 before July 7; $40 the
day of the event. The fee includes equipment, instruction, lunch, a
chance at door prizes, a one-year subscription to Women in the
Outdoors magazine, a visor, and an NWTF membership. For information
