Cass Lake, Minn. Norman L. Wagoner has been selected as forest supervisor for the Chippewa National Forest. His duties there will begin approximately June 1. Wagoner replaces Logan Lee, who transferred to Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie in Illinois. D

Wagoner is now the district ranger within the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest and Thunder Basin National Grassland in Wyoming. He’ll join the Chippewa forest as a Forest Management Plan is being developed.

Minnetonka, Minn. On April 11, a new public access to Lake Minnetonka will open at County Road 101 and Gray’s Bay Boulevard. The public access is a joint project of the city of Minnetonka and the Minnesota DNR, with additional funding from several other
