St. Paul The 10th annual Ice Fishing and Winter Sports Show comes to the Touchstone Energy Place at RiverCentre beginning Dec. 6 and continuing through Dec. 8. The show will feature everything from ice fishing shelters to power augers, and from clothing

St. Paul Mike Markell, the Minnesota DNR’s water recreation manager, recently received the William H. Ivers Award from the State Organization for Boating Access. The award is presented to individuals who have contributed significantly over their careers

The organization also recognized the state’s efforts on the Silver Bay Safe Harbor on Lake Superior with its Outstanding Project Award in the Marina and Harbors category. Larry Killien, the DNR’s harbor program coordinator, accepted the award for the agency.
