Coyote n Hunting: Continuous open season, except closed in some
areas during gun deer and muzzleloader season. Trapping: Northern
Zone, Oct. 19 – Feb. 15; Southern Zone, Oct. 26 – Feb. 15.

Beaver (trapping only) n Zone A (Northwest), Oct. 19 – April 30;
Zone B (Northeast), Oct. 19 – April 30; Zone C (South), Nov. 2 –
April 30; Zone D (Mississippi River), day after duck season closes
to March 15.

Muskrat (trapping only) n Northern Zone, Oct. 19 – Feb. 28;
Central Zone, Oct. 26 – Feb. 28; Winnebago, Oct. 26 – March 15;
South, Nov. 2 – Feb. 28; Mississippi River, begins day after duck
season closes or the second Monday in November, whichever occurs
first, and ends Feb. 28.

Mink (trapping only) n North Zone, Oct. 19 – Dec. 31; Central
Zone, Oct. 26 – Dec. 31; Winnebago, Oct. 26 – March 15; South, Nov.
2 – Dec. 31; Mississippi River, begins day after duck season closes
or the second Monday in November, whichever occurs first, and ends
on Jan. 15.

Otter (trapping only) n Northern Zone, Dec. 7 – April 30;
Central Zone, Dec. 7 – March 2; South Zone, Dec. 7 – March 2.

Fisher (trapping only) n Various zones, Nov. 1 – Dec. 31.
