Duluth, Minn. The U.S. Forest Service has announced that Paul Momper has been named deputy forest supervisor for Superior National Forest.

Momper formerly was group leader for the administration of the National Environmental Policy Act, appeals and litigation, in Denver. He’s also worked on two hotshot crews, helitack and fire prevention during his Forest Service career. Momper has a bachelor of science degree in forest management from Oklahoma State University.
