Winona, Minn. Minnesota duck hunters residing and hunting in Winona and Houston counties may be contacted soon to participate in a study of spinning-wing decoys.

The Minnesota DNR Division of Wildlife has contacted Dr. Alan Afton, of the U.S. Geological Survey-Louisiana Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit at Louisiana State University, to conduct a study of the effectiveness of spinning-wing decoys for hunting ducks in Minnesota.
