Grand Rapids, Minn. Those who plan to hunt in the Bear River Demonstration Forest (BRDF), located in parts of Itasca and St. Louis counties, during the 2002 deer season will need to register their harvested deer at special areas, for registration only.

Special Area 169 and special Area 176 are part of larger permit areas. Area 169 is included in antlerless permit Area 168, where 5,000 antlerless permits will be issued. Area 176 is part of antlerless permits Area 175, where 7,000 antlerless permits will be issued. The special registration will give the Minnesota DNR added information
