Meanwhile, Diane Nygaard, at the Interagency Fire Center in
Grand Rapids, said the state is sending crews to help fight the
huge wildfires raging in the West, but is trying to keep enough
firefighters in Minnesota to deal with potential fires.

Tuesday it was announced the center had been asked to send an
additional 20 people to help fight wildfires in Colorado. They
would battle fire at Pinyon Ridge. That fire of about 1,450 acres
