Minneapolis The 70th Annual Northwest Sportshow begins Friday, March 22 and continues through March 30 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

The Sportshow includes more than 600 exhibitors featuring
everything for the outdoorsman or woman. You’ll find hunting and
fishing gear, along with boats, campers, and docks. The NRA will
offer a “Virtual Hunt,” and Kansas natives will perform stunts with
live rattlesnakes. Or you can take in a seminar; Jim McDonnell’s
Kid’s Fishing Clinic and Steve Blake’s crappie fishing seminar are
just a couple examples. Gary Clancy will be signing copies of his
new book “Strictly Whitetails” at the Outdoor News booth, No. 44-45
on Thursday and Friday, March 28 and 29.

Show hours are 5-10 p.m. opening Friday, 4-10 p.m. Monday
through Thursday, noon to 10 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 10 a.m. to 9
p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Admission for
adults is $8, for kids 5-11, it’s $4. Children under age 5 are
free. Discount tickets are available at Cub Foods.
