Madison, Wis. There will be a significant reduction in the number of Wisconsin deer hunting “Zone T” units those in which special antlerless hunts are held to reduce the deer population this year.
The number of Zone T units this year likely will be 45, down from 76 last season and 86 in 2000. Most of the units are in northern Wisconsin and some western portions of the state. For a list of units holding Zone T hunts, check the Wisconsin DNR web site at: www.dnr.state.wi.us, or call
