St. Paul The Minnesota DNR has announced the appointment of two new resource managers for state parks in southeastern Minnesota.

Rick Remington and Shawn Fritcher have accepted positions as regional resource manager and area resource specialist, respectively. Remington will be based in Rochester, while Fritcher will work at the Nerstrand-Big Woods State Park office.
