White Bear Lake and Clear Lake should be looked at for walleyes
in 8 to 15 feet of water. Jigs tipped with minnows are the way to
go now. Northern pike continue to hit on Big Marine Lake and Bald

The north shore of Buffalo Lake is giving up walleyes in 8 to 10
feet of water. Crankbaits or jigs tipped with minnows have worked
best. Look to Buffalo for consistent crappie action in 12 feet of
water as well. Pheasant hunters are finding a few birds and
waterfowl hunters are finding more geese than ducks. No northern
birds have been seen in the area yet.

Fishing activity has been limited. There just aren’t many
anglers going out. Pheasant hunters are doing pretty well in this
area and duck hunters are finding more birds than usual in the
immediate area.
