St. Paul Due to an oversight, the Minnesota DNR incorrectly lists antlerless permit area 287 (Itasca State Park) in the 2001 Hunting and Trapping Regulations Handbook as an area where archery and muzzleloader deer management permits are valid.

Itasca State Park is open only for firearms deer hunting during the regular 2A firearms season. Regular firearms deer management permits can be used to harvest antlerless deer in that area during that season.
