Little Falls, Minn. A proposal to implement catch-and-release trout regulations on Little Rock Creek will be the focus of a public input meeting to be held Sept. 18.

Little Rock Creek is a coldwater stream in Morrison and Benton
counties that’s managed for brown trout. “Catch and release only”
regulations are being proposed by the DNR to help build a
self-sustaining trout population.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Lakeview Center on the
north side of Little Rock Lake. Written comments may be submitted
through Oct. 29 to DNR Fisheries, 16543 Haven Road, Little Falls,
MN 56345. An additional open house will be held at the DNR central
office in St. Paul on Oct. 15, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
