Joe Cannella, executive director of MSSEC, said the range will
be used for firearms safety courses and allow the center to host
competitive air rifle field target events.
Air rifle field target ranges use animal-shaped targets that are
knocked down with high-powered air rifles at distances of 15 to 50
meters. Targets range from crows to snakes to rats. For more
