A Circuit Court judge in Madison, Wis., issued a preliminary
injunction on Tuesday to stop the state’s first dove hunt, which
was scheduled to start Saturday, Sept. 1. The hunt is postponed
until the court determines the outcome of a lawsuit brought forth
by Wisconsin Citizens Concerned for Cranes and Doves. More details
will be in the next issue of Wisconsin Outdoor News.
