Alexandria, Minn. Pro angler Tom Braaten, of Lakeville, along with amateur partner Boyd Burke, of Lino Lakes, triumphed at the recent Minnesota Pro-Am Bass Tour event held on Alexandria-area lakes.

Braaten took home $7,275 and Burke, $2,425, in the event featuring nearly 200 anglers. The Braaten/Burke catch totaled 20.87 pounds. Anoka, Minn. Game Fair marks its twentieth year this weekend. The 2001 event runs Aug. 10-12 and again the following weekend, Aug. 17-19, at the Armstrong Ranch Kennels near Anoka.
