Anoka, Minn. Game Fair returns to the Armstrong Ranch once again this August. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the pre-hunting gala, which runs Aug. 10-12, and Aug. 17-19.

As in the past, Game Fair will feature a huge lineup of free
seminars, from dog training with Tom Dokken, to preparing wild game
for the table with Chef John Schumacher. Outdoor News “Tackle
Terry” Tuma will show anglers the wonders of fall fishing each day
of the event at 1 p.m.

Show hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Armstrong Ranch is
located six miles northwest of Anoka take Hwy. 169 north to
Armstrong Blvd. and follow the signs. Cost is $8 for adults, $3 for
kids ages 6-12, $6 for seniors, and kids under 6, free. Fridays,
Aug. 10 and 17, are family days, when kids are free with adult
admission.
