Little Falls, Minn. If you’ll need a certificate showing you’ve completed hunter safety training before you hunt this fall, now is the time to sign up for classes, according to the Minnesota DNR.

In Minnesota, hunters born after Dec. 31, 1979 must take a DNR
safety training course and receive a certificate of completion
before purchasing a license for big or small game. And many states
now have stringent requirements when it comes to hunter
education.
