Rushford, Minn. The black bear spotted by numerous residents in eastern Fillmore County in southeast Minnesota poses little threat to people or livestock, according to the Minnesota DNR.

Sighting were reported near Bratsburg, about five miles south of Rushford, according to Conservation Officer Dan Book. Similar sightings were reported about 40 miles away, near Elgin, last week.
