Zimmerman, Minn. Migratory Bird Day, a celebration of the return of migratory birds to their breeding areas, will be observed at Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, May 12, beginning with a program, “Songbird Search,” at 7 a.m.

A second program, “Birds in the Wetlands,” begins at 8:30 a.m. and a third, “Interpreting Bird Behavior,” begins at 10 a.m. Pre-registration is requested for the programs. Call (763) 389-3323, Ext. 213, or (800) 877-8339. Participants should bring binoculars and a field guide to the free event.
