Prior Lake, Minn. The Minnesota DNR recently dedicated the Don Ney Wildlife Management Area, a 160-acre WMA located in the southwest corner of Scott County, just south of the metro area.

The WMA includes wildlife nesting and winter cover and has bluffs overlooking the Minnesota River. The land was sold to the DNR below its appraised value by Ney, who has a history of involvement with conservation.
