Spring Park, Minn. The 24th Annual Leukemia Crappie Contest, expected to draw thousands of Minnesota anglers, is slated for April 21 on Lake Minnetonka, in Spring Park.

The event, a fund-raiser for the Minnesota Chapter of the
Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, is sponsored by Gander Mountain,
Minn Kota, and Berkley. It runs from 12:01 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Grand prize is a boat/trailer rig valued at more than $5,000.
Other prizes will be awarded. Registration fee is $5. Crappies will
be weighed at Lord Fletcher’s Restaurant on the lake.
