Minneapolis The 10-day run of the 69th Annual Northwest Sportshow begins March 16 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

The show features more than 600 exhibitors of everything the outdoors has to offer, including travel opportunities; hunting and angling destinations; boats and motors; hunting, fishing and camping gear; and motor homes. St. Paul The 19th Annual Minnesota Deer Classic begins Friday and runs through Sunday at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds coliseum building in St. Paul.

Features of the show are more than 200 booths, a taxidermy competition, air rifle shoot, trophy antler competition and display, shed antler competition and display, and free hourly seminars. Show hours are 3-10 p.m. on Friday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is just $5
