Waterville, Minn. Debris from trees downed in a recent ice storm prompted the Minnesota DNR to close Sakatah Lake State Park, located 14 miles west of Faribault.

The park was expected to re-open on Feb 7 or 8, depending on how quickly clean-up work progresses. A candlelight ski scheduled for Feb. 10 may be re-scheduled due to debris remaining on trails.
