St. Paul The Minnesota Sportsmen’s Boat, Camping and Vacation Show, at the RiverCentre in St. Paul, continues through this weekend, ending Jan. 14.

Displayers at the show will showcase their camping, boating, and hunting and fishing equipment. There will be a live trout fishing pond and daily fishing seminars. Weekend show hours are noon to 10:30 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $7.50 for

Washington, D.C. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has given permanent approval to shot formulated of tungsten, nickel, and iron for hunting waterfowl and coots, after toxicology tests showed no harm to birds that ingested the shot. In December, the USF
