RED WING AREA
The deep current areas on the Mississippi River are kicking out flathead and channel catfish. The wing dams on the river are giving up bluegills and walleye action has been limited to a few fish being taken with crankbaits over 18 to 20 feet in the Rush River and Maiden Rock areas of Lake Pepin.
